Warszawskie ulice zdobią nietuzinkowe dzieła sztuki architektonicznej. Oglądając album, możemy podziwiać m.in. Pałac Łazienkowski – letnią rezydencję króla Augusta Poniatowskiego, niezniszczony podczas II wojny światowej kościół Sióstr Wizytek, hotel Bristol, czyli najstarszy działający hotel w stolicy. Nie zabraknie także wyjątkowych miejsc pamięci – pomników, np. wybitnego poety Adama Mickiewicza czy Małego Powstańca.

Fotografie pokazują także nowoczesne oblicze miasta – biurowce (m.in. Warsaw Spire), budynki akademickie (np. Wydział Fizyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego), osiedla (np. tzw. Osiedle Ażurowych Okiennic), obiekty sportowe i użyteczności publicznej.

Przy każdym obiekcie umieszczonym w albumie podano podstawowe informacje o jego historii: pierwotną i obecną nazwę, autora projektu i lata budowy. Opisy zostały przygotowane w języku polskim, angielskim, niemieckim, rosyjskim i hiszpańskim.

We invite you to see the 99 most beautiful places in Warsaw. The lens of Rafał Tomczyk enables you to see Warsaw’s most interesting side.

Warsaw’s streets are decorated with extraordinary works of architectural art. In this album you can admire, among others: the Łazienki Palace - the summer residence of King August Poniatowski; the Church of St. Joseph of the Visitationists, which emerged unscathed by the Second World War; the Bristol Hotel, the oldest hotel in the capital; as well as some of the many unique memorial sites/monuments, such as the monuments of the outstanding poet Adam Mickiewicz or the Little Insurgent.

The photographs also show the modern face of the city - office buildings (e.g. the Warsaw Spire), academic buildings (e.g. the Department of Physics of the University of Warsaw), housing estates (e.g. the so-called Openwork Shutters Settlement), and sports facilities and public utilities.

Each facility in the album is accompanied by captions containing the basic information about its history: its original and current name, the author of the design, and years of construction. Captions are provided in Polish, English, German, Russian, and Spanish.

Wir laden Sie ein, die 99 schönsten Orte von Warschau kennen zu lernen. Die von Rafał Tomczyk fotografierte Stadt zeigt sich von ihrer schönsten Seite.

Überdurchschnittliche Werke der architektonischen Kunst zieren die Warschauer Straßen. Auf den Fotos können Sie u.a. den Łazienki-Palast, der Sommerresidenz des Königs August Poniatowski war, die während des Zweiten Weltkriegs nicht zerstörte Visitantinnen-Kirche, das Hotel Bristol, also das älteste und immer noch tätige Hotel in der Hauptstadt bewundern. Es mangelt auch nicht an Gedenkorten und Denkmälern, z.B. des herausragenden Dichters Adam Mickiewicz oder des Kleinen Aufständischen.

Andere Fotos zeigen das moderne Bild der Stadt – Bürogebäude (u.a. Warsaw Spire), Universitätsgebäude (z.B. die Fakultät der Physik der Universität Warschau), Wohnviertel (z.B. sog. Viertel der durchbrochenen Fensterläden), Sport- und öffentliche Objekte.

Neben jedem Objekt finden Sie im Album Grundinformationen über seine Geschichte – den ursprünglichen und den heutigen Namen, den Autor des Entwurfs und die Errichtungsjahre. Die Beschreibungen wurden auf Polnisch, Englisch, Deutsch, Russisch und Spanisch verfasst.

Les animamos a ver 99 lugares más bellos de Varsovia. La ciudad vista por la lente de Rafał Tomczyk muestra su lado más interesante.

Las calles de Varsovia están decoradas con obras arquitectónicas inusuales. Viendo el álbum podemos admirar: el Palacio Łazienki - la residencia de verano del rey Augustus Poniatowski, la iglesia de las Hermanas de la Visitación – no destruida por la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el hotel Bristol, es decir, el hotel más antiguo de la capital. También habrá lugares de memoria excepcionales - monumentos, por ejemplo, al poeta destacado Adam Mickiewicz o al Pequeno Insurgente.

Las fotografías muestran también la cara moderna de la ciudad - edificios de oficinas (entre otros: Varsovia Spire), edificios académicos (p.ej. el Departamento de Física de la Universidad de Varsovia), barrios residenciales (p.ej. Barrio de Contraventanas Caladas), instalaciones deportivas y edificios públicos.
